The goal of the Bethlehem Child Care Center is to provide and support quality, affordable childcare for all families.

* Mission Of the Bethlehem Child Care Center

The Bethlehem Child Care Center provides these opportunities for Mankato area families with children age 6 weeks - age 5. The Bethlehem Child Care Center will provide faith-based, quality childcare as a mission of Bethlehem Lutheran Church with qualified staff and program in compliance with rule 3 of the State of Minneasota.

* Childcare Philosophy

The Childcare Philosphy of The Bethlehem Child Care Center is that each child is a unique and valuable individual, created by God, with a variety of interests, needs, and abilities. Each child learns self-worth, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills, as well as respect for others through appopriate daily activities.

* Childcare Program Plan

To meet the developmental needs of each child, the Bethlehem Child Care Center plans for a developmentally appropriate, faith- based learning environment. This will include positive group experiences, realistic expectations, challenges, and freedom for individual choices. Equipment and materials at activity centers are rotated between groups during the day. A fun learning theme is chosen for each week of the month to help facilitate learning. All children will be supervised at all times!
